Questions
What makes a Shopify store slow?
Usually third-party app scripts loading on every page, oversized images and video, leftover code from uninstalled apps, and Liquid loops that make Shopify's servers work too hard before the page is even sent. Shopify's own hosting is rarely the problem.
What are Core Web Vitals?
Google's three measures of how a page feels to a real visitor: how quickly the main content appears (LCP), how fast the page responds to a tap or click (INP), and how much the layout jumps around while loading (CLS). Google reports them for your store in Search Console.
Do speed-booster apps work?
Mostly not. They add another script to the page and can't remove the ones causing the problem. Speed comes from fixing the theme: deferring or removing scripts, optimising media and cleaning up code.
How much faster will my store get?
That depends on what's causing the slowness, so I measure before promising anything. The audit records your Core Web Vitals first, the fixes are made in the theme, and you get the before-and-after numbers. It's quoted as a fixed price after the audit.
