Shopify UX and UI Design
Store design that makes it easier to find, choose and buy.
Design work that goes straight into the theme rather than stopping at a mockup. Most shoppers are on a phone, so every layout starts there.
Who it's for
- Stores where shoppers struggle to find products or pick a variant.
- Stores whose mobile experience lags behind desktop.
- Brands whose theme no longer matches how the brand looks.
What's included
- A UX review of navigation, collection and product pages.
- Mobile menus, filters and search that get shoppers to the right product faster.
- Product page and colour-swatch design for catalogues with lots of variants.
- Cart design: upsells, spend milestones and gift-with-purchase.
- Custom sections and campaign pages your team can reuse every sale season.
- Designs built directly into the theme, not handed off as static files.
How I work
- 01
Call
A short call to understand the store, the goal and the deadline.
- 02
Plan
A written scope: what I'll build, in what order, and what I need from you.
- 03
Build
Work ships in small steps on a preview theme, so you see progress as it happens.
- 04
Launch
Go live, check everything on the live store, and hand over — with support after launch.

Questions
What is Shopify UX and UI design?
UX is how the store works: navigation, filters, product pages, cart and checkout flow. UI is how it looks: layout, type, colour and components. On Shopify the two are done together, in the theme, so shoppers can find, choose and buy with less friction on every screen size.
Do I get design files or a working theme?
A working theme. Designs go straight into your theme and you review them on a preview theme in your own store, with real products, rather than approving static mockups that then need building a second time.
How much does Shopify UX and UI design cost?
It's a fixed price agreed after a short call and a written scope. The price depends on how many templates and sections are being designed: a product-page and cart rework is a smaller job than a full storefront redesign.
Will the design work on mobile?
It starts there. Most shoppers on the stores I work on are on a phone, so every layout is designed at phone width first and then expanded for tablet and desktop, not the other way round.
