The brief

Lals is a chocolate and gifting brand with online stores for Pakistan and the UAE.

The brand sells boxed chocolates and gifts, so the storefront has to present a catalogue built around occasions and gifting rather than a plain product list. I worked on it while senior developer at SIAR Digital, the agency behind the site.

What I did

  • Customised the Shopify storefront: adapting the theme to the brand and its gifting catalogue.
  • Worked on the store as senior developer at SIAR Digital, December 2021 – August 2022.

Outcome

Online sales grew to PKR 2 million a month.

After the storefront customisation, Lals' online sales grew to PKR 2 million a month. The customised storefront is live at lalschocolates.com.
